The Clash of Clans game server was disconnected this morning around 5:10 AM EST. The server was unavailable for approximately 20 minutes. Supercell claims that the server maintenance was to improve performance in matchmaking.

There should be no noticeable changes for the players except matchmaking should be faster after the update.

Let us know if you think the Next button is more responsive after the update.

As a die hard player here I’ve gone from full time playing to “dabbling” ..I’m waiting for their next update to give supercell a chance to right past wrongs. Over the last week or so I’ve experienced only one period for a few hours where things seemed to get better and am just guessing they are trying various tweaks to the matchmaking system but as of last night things have reverted to where it couldn’t be worse… Has anyone else noticed their level 5 archers seemed to have lost their “punch”?

I was kind of feeling the same thing with level 5 archers versus buildings. They don’t seem to have lowered the stats on the archer. Maybe they upped the hit points on buildings? Of course, maybe it’s my imagination.

Attack is very laggy since this so it seems things have been made worse. Perhaps they downgraded the server rather than upgraded!
